What Girls Are Made Of

Directed by David Wilson

Insight

The world sees women as delicate objects, mostly there for mens desire, but women have proven relentlessly in the world of sport that they are made tough.

Idea

Prove that the female steretype is untrue by telling a story that starts in a cliche place and slowly shatters expectations about women as the story unfolds.

Execution

A film that starts with a young girl at a recital singing about what woman are made. As the film progresses her song transitions from negative cliches about women to real world examples of women dominating in sport.

Notes

Interesting and unexpected way to remind audiences that woman don't have to be what the world thinks they are.
