If sea levels continue to rise at the current rate, the entire country of Tuvalu will be submerged in a matter of decades – and will become unlivable well before then.

Idea

Become the first digital nation by digitally recreating every inch of the islands and storing them on the cloud so that future generations can know their history.

Execution

A stunt that featured Tuvaluan minister Simon Kofe addressing the UN with the radical and dystopian plan to become the first digital nation.

Notes

The tone of this is super interesting, It’s essentially admitting defeat as a way to make statement. Tragic.
