When it comes to beauty, we're our own harshest critic. In fact we're more likely to have a negative view of ourselves than what someone else would.

Idea

Demonstrate how harsh we are on ourselves by having a sketch artist draw two versions of a woman, the version dictacted by the woman and the version dictated by someone else.

Execution

A long form film that shows a sketch artist interviewing a series of women on their looks followed by someone they just met, revealing the results side-by-side.

Notes

Another great statement by Dove. Love the way they take their time with this draw out the individual stories. Some nice shot choices as well, like the shot of the shadows from the window moving along the ground.
