Film Charity 2014

Most Shocking Second A Day

Directed by Martin Stirling

Insight

When tragedies happen on the other side of world, It’s easy for us to distance ourselves from them emotionally.

Idea

Get people to feel sympathy for the children suffering through war in Syria, by portraying a british child experiencing a war in the UK.

Execution

A one-second video syle film that shows a year of a young girl's life as Britian falls to a war.

Notes

Well, now I'm crying. This is stunning. The one second video construct is a great way to anchor this film and make it feel relatable. The idea to make this happen to a little girl in Britian as opposed to a girl in Syria really smashes the target audience in the feels.
