Humans have a natural instinct to nurture and care, which in the case of inanimate objects is actually quite hilarious.

Idea

Trick the audience into loving an old IKEA lamp, then mock them for it.

Execution

A film that follows the story of a lamp that is abandoned on the side of the road, ending with a jab at the viewer for caring about a lamp.

Notes

Spike Jones shoots, Spike Jones scores. Really pulls the rug from under and you make you feel like a fucking idiot. They could've ended this with super, but instead chose to have a Swedish man standing in the rain. Hilarious.
