Captions help deaf people understand what characters are saying in films and TV, but they do a pretty poor job of it and haven't been updated since the early 70s.

Idea

Modernise captions to better portray who is speaking and the emotions in thier delivery.

Execution

A new system of captions that utilises text size, colour and other simple mechanics to better communicate the tone of the scene on screen.

This is one of those ones where you wonder "how has it taken until 2025 for someone to do this.".
