Local fishing communities in Turkey are facing massive shortages in fish populations due to discarded nets that continue to trap fish called "Ghost Nets".

Idea

Turn a local fishing village into a ghost town by covering the buildings in ghost nets, a visual metaphor for their bleak future if action isn't taken.

Execution

A stunt where a press conference is held in fishing village covered in ghost nets pulled from the ocean.

Notes

Beautiful stunt, the metaphor works nicely and although something you have to visit to truly engage with, it works nicely in the age of social media.
